Qatar Engineering & Construction Company seeks to hire the services of dynamic, qualified, and experienced candidates to fill the following positions urgently:

Project Manager
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 20 years of proven work experience in oil & gas maintenance, preferably with HSE; QA/QC. Preference will be given to candidates having worked on at least 10 major Turnarounds, out of which, at least 3 major Turnarounds must be as Project Manager.

Shutdown Manager
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 18 years of proven work experience in oil & gas maintenance. Preference will be given to candidates having worked on at least 10 major Turnarounds, out of which, at least 3 major Turnarounds must be as Shutdown Manager. The chosen candidate shall be responsible for SD Execution preparation and implementation.

Execution Manager - TA
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 15 years of proven work experience in oil & gas maintenance. Preference will be given to candidates having worked on at least 7 major Turnarounds, out of which, at least 3 major Turnarounds must be as Execution Lead. The chosen candidate shall be responsible for Area Execution Works.

Planning Manager
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 15 years of proven work experience in oil & gas maintenance. Preference will be given to candidates having worked on at least 7 major Turnarounds, out of which, at least 2 major Turnarounds must be as Planning Manager. The chosen candidate shall be responsible for pre-Shutdown and overall Shutdown planning, along with reporting and tracking the progress.

HSE Manager
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Engineering with Safety Diploma (NEBOSH), with at least 15 years of proven work experience in oil & gas maintenance. Preference will be given to candidates having worked on at least 4 major Turnarounds, out of which, at least 2 major Turnarounds must be as HSE Manager. The chosen candidate shall be responsible for preparations of health, safety, and environment and managing them through all phases.

HSE Lead for Field
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Engineering with Safety Diploma (NEBOSH), with at least 10 years of proven work experience in oil & gas maintenance. Preference will be given to candidates having worked on at least 4 major Turnarounds, out of which, at least 2 major Turnarounds must be as HSE Lead for Field. The chosen candidate shall be responsible for managing HSE-related issues in the field.

Senior Planning Engineer
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 12 years of proven work experience in field maintenance & shutdown, at least 5 shutdowns. The candidates should be proficient in P-6, MS Project, and MS Office. Additionally, the candidate should be sound in plan management and progress reporting.

Planning Engineer
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 8 years of proven work experience in field maintenance & shutdown. The candidates should be proficient in P-6, MS Project, and MS Office.

Planners
The ideal candidate must possess relevant degree/diploma, with at least 10 years of proven work experience in material preparation from scope, detailed scheduling, and have sound knowledge of computerized material system, be proficient in P-6, MS Project, and MS Office.

Scheduler
The ideal candidate must possess relevant degree/diploma, with at least 10 years of proven work experience in material preparation from scope, detailed scheduling, and have sound knowledge of computerized material system, be proficient in P-6, MS Project, and MS Office.

Senior Engineer – Field
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 12 years of proven work experience in field maintenance & shutdown of oil & gas, and Petrochemical plants, at least 5 shutdowns. Additionally, the candidate must be capable of preparing method statements and technical studies.

Lifting/Rigging Specialist
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 15 years of proven work experience in field maintenance & shutdown of oil & gas, and Petrochemical plants, at least 5 shutdowns. Preference shall be given to candidates having certifications and working knowledge of mobile and stationary overhead cranes.

Material Coordinator
The ideal candidate must possess relevant degree/diploma, with at least 10 years of work experience in oil & gas industry shutdowns. Preference shall be given to candidates having sound knowledge of SAP System (Material Issue System), with good written and verbal English communication skills.

Site Supervisors / Surveyors
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 10 years of proven work experience in the field as a planner, expert at P&ids. The candidate must be proficient in equipment drawings, and computer softwares like Primavera. The chosen candidate shall be responsible for developing method statements, assisting in field surveys and site preparations.

Field Supervisor
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 10 years of proven work experience in the field as a planner, expert at P&ids. The candidate must be proficient in equipment drawings, and computer softwares like Primavera.

Cost Assistant
The ideal candidate must possess minimum Bachelor’s in Commerce or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 10 years of proven work experience in estimating, costing, budgeting for maintenance and piping works. Preference shall be given to candidates having knowledge of relevant softwares.
